Echo Square Yakiami Grilling Mesh 210mm x 270mm
Traditional Disposable grade Japanese-style grilling mesh for stovetop grilling of fish, mochi and toast.
The Echo Yakiami is a traditional Japanese-style grilling mesh, the kind used in households across Japan for direct stovetop grilling. Place it over a gas burner and you have an instant grill surface for fish, mochi, pieces of toast, dried squid, capsicum and anything else that benefits from a quick flame-kiss. The square 210mm x 270mm format gives plenty of working room while staying compact enough to handle and store easily.
This is a budget, traditional-spec product made from zinc-plated steel mesh on a tin-plated steel frame, distributed by Echo Metal Co. in Niigata, Japan. It does require a quick first-use burn-off and a little ongoing care to manage rust – all standard for this style of grilling mesh.
