After intensive research and countless tests on knives made of steels of all hardness levels, we found that a unique mirror-like sharpness can be achieved across a wide range of knives. Whether using classic European steels or high-quality Damascus and carbon steels, the HORL Kagami takes your knives to a new level of refinement.

Step by step to mirror-like sharpness
Ensure the blade is free of any burr. Fully use all elements of the HORL Premium Set. Sharpen each side of your blade for at least 5 minutes until mirror-sharp. Always clean the blade and whetstone between sides to avoid scratches from abrasion particles. For a final polish, slightly moisten the HORL Kagami and use it for one minute per side.
