The Joseph Joseph Dash does more than grind. The reversible bamboo lid keeps the mortar clean and dust-free on the benchtop, features a deep groove on top to hold the pestle safely when not in use, and flips over to serve as a small chopping or ingredient-staging surface. Three functions from one lid.

Both pestle and mortar are carved from the same hard-wearing natural granite – heavy enough for serious crushing and grinding work. As with all natural stone, each piece is unique in appearance.

Care Instructions

• Hand wash only. Wash immediately after use to minimise staining and allow to air dry.
• Do not soak the bamboo lid.
• Oil bamboo regularly with a food-safe mineral oil to maintain condition.
