A ridgeless 58mm filter basket that holds 19g to 22g of coffee and promotes even water flow through the puck for a more consistent espresso extraction.

The filter basket is the perforated stainless steel cup that sits inside your portafilter and holds the ground coffee. Pullman Espresso Accessories build theirs with precision cut holes and a ridgeless wall, so water passes through the puck more uniformly. Less channeling means more of the coffee is extracted evenly, and more of the flavour makes it into the cup.

Swapping a stock basket for a precision one is a low cost upgrade with a clear effect on the cup. Independent testing by the Australian Coffee Science Lab recorded a 0.1% lift in TDS and a 0.2% lift in overall extraction. For lighter, modern roasts that gain rose to 0.5%. Tasters noted better clarity and balance, with improvements in acidity, sweetness and finish.
