OONI Halo Core – Foundry Black

The Black Ooni Halo Core is a compact spiral stand mixer with a 4.5L stainless steel bowl. It uses a dual kneading action to build gluten the way commercial bakery mixers do.

Spiral mixers are the bakery standard because they fold dough rather than drag it around the bowl. Halo Core brings that action into a domestic footprint. The dough hook and breaker bar work together, so the mix stays even from the first turn. Dough develops a stronger gluten network in less time.

Twenty speed settings give far finer control than the six to eleven offered on most home mixers. Two high torque DC motors share the load, which suits the long mixing times that dough demands. Inbuilt protection slows the motor automatically if it starts to run hot. The stainless steel attachments lift straight out and go in the dishwasher.
